Eurostar summer sale: 25% off Paris, London & Amsterdam

Eurostar summer sale: 25% off Standard and Plus fares for travel from 24 June to 23 September 2026. Routes, conditions and how to book before 8 June.

Short answer: the Eurostar summer sale gives you 25% off Standard and Eurostar Plus fares for travel between 24 June and 23 September 2026, on routes linking London, Paris, Lille, Brussels, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Cologne. You must book before 8 June 2026 — after that, the discount disappears.

If you have been waiting for a sign to plan a European summer trip, this is it. The Eurostar summer sale, launched on 2 June, is one of the operator's biggest promotions of the year: a flat 25% cut on adult fares across its core network, right in the middle of the peak holiday season. Sales like this usually last only a few days — this one closes on 8 June at 23:59 CET.

What the Eurostar summer sale includes

The promotion applies to two travel classes:

  • Eurostar Standard — the regular coach, already the cheapest way to cross the Channel or hop between capitals.
  • Eurostar Plus — larger reclining seats, extra legroom and a light meal served at your seat on routes to and from London.

Eurostar Premier, the top class, is excluded. The discount applies to adult fares only — child, youth and senior fares are not part of the deal.

The travel window is generous: any eligible departure between 24 June and 23 September 2026, which covers the whole summer holiday period. A few peak dates are blacked out, and discounted seats are limited on each train, so the earlier you book within the sale window, the better the choice.

Which routes are covered

The sale spans the heart of the Eurostar network, in both directions:

  • London ↔ Paris — about 2 h 16 from St Pancras to Gare du Nord.
  • London ↔ Lille — around 1 h 30.
  • London ↔ Brussels — about 2 h.
  • London ↔ Rotterdam and Amsterdam — direct, around 4 h to Amsterdam.
  • Paris ↔ Brussels — about 1 h 22 city centre to city centre.
  • Paris ↔ Rotterdam and Amsterdam — roughly 3 h 20 to Amsterdam.
  • Paris ↔ Cologne — direct into western Germany.

City-centre stations are a big part of the value here: no airport transfers, no long security queues, and you step off the train in the middle of Paris, London or Amsterdam ready to start the day.

How to book before the 8 June deadline

The mechanics are simple, but the clock matters:

  1. Pick your dates between 24 June and 23 September 2026, avoiding the few blackout dates shown at booking.
  2. Compare prices for your route — search your trip on Gopaxo to see Eurostar fares side by side with buses, carpooling and flights on the same corridor.
  3. Book before 8 June 2026, 23:59 CET. After the deadline the remaining seats revert to normal pricing.
  4. Stay flexible: discounted seats are capped per departure. Mid-week trains and off-peak times keep the widest availability.

For everything about check-in times, luggage rules and on-board classes, our Eurostar travel guide has you covered.

Is 25% off actually a good deal?

Yes — especially for summer. When the consumer group Which? analysed a year of Eurostar prices, it found the average one-way London–Paris fare was £79, rising to about £143 when booked a week before departure. Peak July and August departures are exactly the ones that normally get expensive first, so a guaranteed 25% cut on those dates is significant.

Eurostar does run cheaper flash sales — earlier in 2026 it sold £35 one-way tickets — but those apply to winter and spring shoulder seasons. For July and August travel, a sitewide percentage discount like this one is rare. And if you miss the deadline, the usual money-saving rules still apply: book early, travel mid-week and compare every operator — our guide to finding cheap train tickets in Europe walks through all of them.
