BlaBlaCar Bus
BlaBlaCar Bus (formerly Ouibus) is BlaBlaCar's long-distance coach brand. With more than 300 destinations served across 15 European countries, 6 million passengers a year and a fleet entirely equipped with Wi-Fi, it is FlixBus's main competitor in France.
BlaBlaCar Bus, the European complement to carpooling
Launched in 2015 by SNCF as iDBUS and then Ouibus, the brand was bought by BlaBlaCar in November 2019 to become BlaBlaCar Bus. The operator today combines the Ouibus fleet with that of integrated operators and local partners. The platform offers, in a single basket, BlaBlaCar Bus coach trips and BlaBlaCar carpooling rides, with the option to combine the two to reach a small town not served directly.
A dense network in France and Europe
BlaBlaCar Bus serves more than 300 cities across 15 countries. In France, lines mainly leave from Paris Porte Maillot, Bercy Seine and Bagnolet, heading to Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes and Strasbourg with several departures a day. International routes leave from Paris to London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Barcelona, Milan, Berlin, Madrid and Prague.
Services and baggage
Every BlaBlaCar Bus coach features: free Wi-Fi, individual sockets, reclining leather seats, toilets, generous legroom and sometimes a trolley service on long trips. On baggage, BlaBlaCar Bus is one of the most generous on the market: 2 hand bags and 1 hold bag included, up to 23 kg and 200 cm combined. A 2nd hold bag is available for around €5 if pre-purchased. Pets (assistance dogs) are accepted free of charge; other pets are not allowed except in special cases.
