FAQ
Travel tickets and documents
E-ticket, paper ticket, mobile pass, receipt and travel certificate: how to get and use your travel documents.
How will I receive my train ticket?
Your ticket is sent by the partner who issued it, usually by e-mail immediately after payment, as an e-ticket (PDF) and/or QR code in the partner's app. Remember to check your spam folder if you don't receive it within minutes.
Do I need to print my ticket?
Most e-tickets can be presented directly on your phone at the check. Some international companies, however, still require a printed ticket or a readable barcode: check the conditions specified by the partner before leaving.
What is an e-ticket?
The e-ticket is a paperless travel document, sent by e-mail in PDF format or integrated into the carrier's mobile app. It contains a barcode or QR code scanned by the conductor on board. It is today the standard format for almost all trips in France and Europe.
I've lost my ticket, what do I do?
Search the confirmation e-mail sent by the partner: it contains your ticket as an attachment. You can also log in to your customer area with the partner to re-download your e-ticket. If you can't find anything, contact the partner's customer service directly — the procedure is identical to the one described in "who to contact for changes".
How do I get a travel certificate?
The certificate (travel attestation, delay slip) is issued by the company that operated the transport. Go to its site or contact its customer service to request it, providing your booking reference.
Can I travel with my ticket on my phone?
Yes, in the vast majority of cases. Remember to download the PDF or save the ticket in your mobile wallet before departure: in some stations, mobile coverage may be unstable. Make sure the screen brightness is high enough to allow the QR code to be read.
